No. YouTube is still great for reach. Tonecreek gives your audience a structured place to find and buy your lessons, downloads and bundles.
Does Tonecreek replace Patreon?+
No. Patreon can still be useful for community and recurring support. Tonecreek is focused on searchable lessons and digital music products.
Do I need to create new content?+
No. You can start with lessons, tabs, PDFs, backing tracks or courses you already have. A jam track you already recorded becomes an interactive backing track by adding tempo, time signature and the chords.
Are there monthly fees?+
No. Tonecreek is designed as a marketplace model with no fixed monthly costs for creators.
Can I still sell on my own website?+
Yes. There is no exclusivity requirement.
What makes Tonecreek different?+
Tonecreek is built around musical discovery. Lessons can be searched and filtered by style, key, scale, technique, level and included materials.
How do payouts work?+
Creators connect their own Stripe account. Payouts go directly to you, minus the platform fee. Setup support is included for Founding Creators.
Can I sell AI-generated backing tracks?+
Yes, if you hold the commercial usage rights. Every product states how it was produced - fully human-produced, AI-assisted or mostly AI-generated - and the label is shown on the product page and in the catalog. For AI content you also name the tool you used, describe your own editing and confirm that no songs, melodies, voices or recordings are used without permission. Tonecreek does not verify or warrant that AI-generated content is protected by copyright, and you are responsible for the rights.
Are there limits on AI content?+
Yes. Up to five AI products per creator and month, no automated bulk uploads, and no near-identical variants as separate listings - variants in another key, tempo or mix version belong in one product or a bundle. We may reject content, remove it from search, merge it or restrict upload rights. The details are in the Creator Agreement and the Upload Guidelines.
